Every Kreisler Vivace 120 violin is hand carved from solid European spruce and Maple then hand assembled by one of the Artisans at one of the most experienced and respected Violin making firms in the far East.
Before they leave the factory every instrument is checked, played, graded and once approved, imported into Australia where they are then fully set up by a qualified violin maker and tested by an experienced violinist before it is considered ready for sale.
During the setup process the bridge is completely reshaped and cut to the correct thickness to suit the instrument. The pegs are serviced and a tailpiece with fine-tuners is installed to ensure both ease of tuning and pitch stability. The nut is then filed to the correct height and the sound post is correctly fitted and positioned.
Very few "student" violins receive this level of attention and preparation and especially at this price.
